The craftsmanship, quality and consistency of services have been excellent for 7 years. Glen Allen Grounds installed a major landscaping project in my front yard. Eric was very responsive and worked in cooperation with my landscape designer. He and his crew were professional and provided excellent suggestions during the project. They also have maintained my property for 3 years and they do an great job. They respond to issues promptly and provide many different services. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.  

So far the work they have done for me has been high quality and the whole process has been very smooth. They have installed mulch, installed trees and shrubs, mowing service, and shrub pruning. Their crew was efficient and did a fine job. Also, their back end process is easy. Communication with the office was simple and paying my invoice was also very simple. In the process of having a patio installed. They have not installed a patio for me but I have been visiting their other jobs as references and like what I see.

Eric and crew were polite, professional, responsive and eager to please. I received a call almost daily to update me on progress, confirm upcoming purchases and changes. My concerns were all addressed and I was never over sold. My yard went from “gross” to gorgeous and my family loves being out there now. I had a great experience working with Eric, Chris, Mike and Kevin and would hire Glen Allen Grounds Management again.

Overall we are extremely pleased with the project and the entire process. We explained to Eric, our project manager, that we had a bad experience with a previous contractor and Eric made sure that our experience with him was A+. We hit a few bumps with ground issues and Eric and the team handled it in the best way possible and were able to deliver a final product that was above our expectations!

Glen Allen Grounds put in a new paver patio, seating wall, landscaping, and buried our ugly drainage pipes. They were more than professional and patient, considering we were dealing with a very picky and slow HOA approval process. Our yard backs up to a main thoroughfare and we get compliments virtually everyday on how beautiful the yard looks. Every level of staff was a pleasure to work with. Our first set of hydrangeas didn’t survive and they replaced them quickly with no questions asked. We highly recommend this company and would use them again in a heartbeat.

I want to thank you for taking on the job of the weeding and mulching at my house. The crew that was here today is excellent. Very professional, hard working, pleasant to have around, and they are doing a beautiful job.

Glen Allen Grounds Management was absolutely amazing from start to finish! Eric came out to our home to assess some massive drainage issues we were having in our back and side yard / driveway. He came up with a wonderful solution and did a 3D rendering to show us exactly what it would look like. The 3D rendering was particularly helpful because I’m a visual person. His hardscape team was fantastic. They were on time everyday and always cleaned up the work area before leaving for the night. Any and all questions were answered promptly. What I particularly love about Eric and his team is that they were knowledgeable, thorough, honest, and dependable. I am on the Board of Directors for Church Run Subdivision in Short Pump, VA and oversee the landscaping and maintenance of our neighborhoods entrances. I have used three different landscaping firms in the past and it wasn’t until I met Eric Ellington and Will Lane, owners of Glen Allen Grounds Management, that I felt that I had a true landscaping partner that understands the importance of knowing that our entrances are our residents and visitors first impression of our neighborhood.
